We are a friendly, lively drama society, formed in 1980 and based in the village of Highnam. We put on a variety of productions, including full-length plays, one-act plays, pantomimes and revues.
Our last production (pictures below) was "Land of Hope and Glory", music and memories from World War II. Set in a village somewhere in the west of Englnad, it followed the lives of one particular family, and the effect of the war on them and other members of the village. Our show offered a snapshot of rural life with all its ups and downs, through happy and sad times, often relieved through the medium of song.
